Cloths: See appearance picture above. He wears a regular battle uniform required ny the Espada, though he hates it, he wears a vest and a pair of tattered jeans under the Espadas Attire. He also wears a necklace with enchanted powers that his mother bestowed upon him, it has a charm made of a small enchanted ruby which gives the necklace its power. He also bears a sheath for his sword on his back that has saphires going down it.

Personality: Ryu, despite his appearance, is actually quite the nice guy. He tends to put on more of a stern and cruel look towards his subbortinants. considering he is the Zero Espada. He tends to always act like a tough guy around women because he doesn't want anyone to see his more sensative side, but they tend to catch him in the act and then they call him on it (he gets laughed at by his sword) but they've never really found out what makes him tick. Sometimes he's not even sure how he ticks. He loves to piss off his underlings whether he's playing around with them or not. Sometimes, because of his bluntness, he does it without realizing it so they tend dislike him a lot. When he trains, people tend to stay far away from him because if they volunteer to train with him, he winds up working them like a military dog wether he means to or not. His subbortinants are the most important thing to him, if they are in danger he would gladly give his life for them wether they like him or not.
He takes no back talk from anyone outside of Sosuke Aizen, and few of the Espada he tends to be cruel sometimes when punishing those under him though he does not like to do so, he would perfer not to harm his freinds but with Aizen hanging over his head he has little choice in the matter.

This attack was first seen being used against Szayel Aporro Granz.[3] In the anime version, Pesche and Dondochakka are shown gathering several separate ceros and fusing them into a swirling ball. Although it does not work on him, Szayel-Aporro admits that it is a "marvelous technique"[4], and that if they had used it at the beginning of the battle (before he had time to analyze their reiatsu) he would have been defeated. However, it does seem to greatly drain Pesche and Dondochakka---both are panting and on the point of collapse after performing it.

Special Abilities: This necklace has the ability to project a powerful barrier around Ryu and his comrades when hes on the brink of death. It also will allow him to increase his spiritpower when threatened by someone whos spirit energy is way beyond his own. Its last ability allows him to create a large portal of darkness and summon a demon to his side... This demons only two abilities are to breath fire and swipe his long claws wildly, but his physical strength is un-imaginable, and he only obeys Ryu because of his mother why Ryu doesnt know but he aint complaining.... History:

Human Arc: As a human Ryu was very agile, and auroney he tended to be a jerk sometimes but it was only because he was blunt. He attended highschool just like any other person, but on his way there he walked into a tragedy his mother who was a captain level shinigami, (He didnt know at the time), had been killed by a hollow this was the first time he had ever seen spirit beings, and he definately did not like it. Shortly after he was living on the streets alone just him and his sister, stealing food, to survive but it just was not enough he died soon after, his sister had gotten picked up luckily by people who would take good care of her... He would probably have left her with his father but he was an ass who beat them half to death, it would'nt have mattered anyway because his dad died one year after he did.

Shinigami/Hollow Arc: Once he died he was quickly found and devouered by a hollow making him become one himself. Eventually he became a Menos Grande a powerful hollow, but he instead began devouering other hollows working his way up the lines till he grew so strong he had became a Vasto Lorde but he wound up gaining a shinigamis power and became an Arranchar he quickly became the most powerful Espada. Espada #0 mostly because he was a Vast Lorde before becoming an Arranchar he was stronger than most. Now he begins training his comrades to make his forces under him more likely to survive, though they hate him for it, he cared about them they were the only family he had... He was determined to keep them alive even if he were killed in their place, though he had un-imaginable power he was beyond protective of his comrades but for some reason he still felt alone...

Ryu stood in the front of a large group of his fellow shinobi, and clan members. This was the day that he would watch the love of his life walk down the aisle to become husband and wife. Rin, despite her distaste for Melody, decided to be a brides maid. As the music started playing for the bride to walk down the aisle, Ryu was amazed when he saw Melody walk down the aisle, she was beautiful. She looks wonderful Ryu thought to himself as Melody stepped up beside him, taking her place for the wedding to begin. After saying their vows, the two were forever joined as husband and wife. When everything was said and done, Rin was the first of the Ukiku to come up to Ryu. "Well, it would seem that you're happy, and I'd like to give you my blessing as head of the clan," Ryu smiled a cocky grin and replied, "Thanks for keeping your opinions to your self today Rin, that really means something to me...at least you respect one of my wishes Rin quickly became angry and began yelling at Ryu. Though Ryu knew that he would regret doing what he was about to do, he turned and walked away from Rin while she was ranting. Leaving Rin standing in the church looking like a complete idiot. Ryu laughed to himself as he watched Rin. As soon as Rin noticed that they were walking away from them, she started running after them, and Ryu laughed aloud and started running away from her.

Though Rin was close to Ryu, she still gave him a hard time, and Ryu gave Rin an even harder time. Ryu was constantly making Rin mad when they were around eachother and playing jokes on her. Too bad Rin had animalistic senses and avoided his pranks most of the time. The two were constantly picking on each other, almost as if they were kids. until the day that he found out about Rin becoming a missing ninja. He felt sick to his stomach and he legs felt like wet noodles. He couldn't understand why she would leave the clan behind, leave her village behind. Then finally, he was told about her assault on the Hokage. He understood why she left, but not why she had attacked the Hokage. Nothing seemed right, Ryu sat in his room that night, staring out the window at the night sky thinking about what he had been told. Why, why would she attack him? he asked himself over and over, until he finally remembered what she had told him once before.

"I found love once, too bad that love didn't think that he could find the real me...everyone in the village knows him now, the Hokage, Mitsu was my love..." That's why...Hokage- sama must have found someone different, Rin was still holding on and couldn't take it...it must have broke her heart... he thought as she watch as shooting star fall in the sky.
