Each Character can Specify 3 skills that use, a Specialty, in which their true talent shines, and two Sub Specialty, were they are weaker in it's use, exsample, a Character who Specialise in Kido would beat another who only Sub Specialises in Kido when using a Kido os the same power. Below are a List of the diffrent types of Skills, including Kido.
Kido: Open to Shinigami, Vizard, The Awakend (through RP), Modsoul, and Bount.(for a List of Kido, please refer to the Kido thread [coming soon])
Kidō (鬼道, "demon way", or "spirit way" sometimes translated as Demon Arts, Viz: Soul Reaper's powers) is one of the four basic Shinigami combat forms, at least according to Sōsuke Aizen. Kidō is the technique that Shinigami use to focus their Spiritual Energy into magic spells of various powers. These spells serve a wide variety of uses such as healing, defense, or combat. The Kidō Corps is a branch of Soul Society's military which excels in the mastery of Kidō. Each spell is graded on a scale from 1 to 99, the latter being the most powerful and the most difficult to perform. The scale is a measure of difficulty, as there can be multiple spells which share the same level. To use Kidō, a Shinigami must recite the specific incantation for the spell, which is often long and requires a few seconds to speak. This weakness can be negated by Shinigami capable of using Eishohaki, a technique that releases Kidō without a spirit chant. While it decreases the time needed to release the Kidō, it drastically weakens the spell[2] While anyone well versed in Kidō can use this technique, it is most effective when done by a skilled practitioner, otherwise the spell could utterly fail. The most skilled experts are capable of using this technique to amazing effect. The power of a spell relies on the power of the user, as even a low-level spell can be utterly devastating when utilized by a high-class Shinigami.
--Kidō Types:
There are three main types of Kidō: binding spells, destruction spells, and healing spells.
Bakudō (Binding spells): are a broad category of defensive spells which block or repel attacks or freezes enemies in place.
Hadō (Destructive spells): refer to offensive spells which harm an enemy or cause damage.
Healing spells: do not have known names, numbers, or incantations to cast, and simply heal the target. As the user holds his hands above the patients wounds, his/her palms glow with green spiritual energy to facilitate healing.
Uncategorized Spells: There are other Spells that do not fall under the above three groups, but these are rare, and dangrous.
Cero Master: Open to Hollows, Vizard, and Arrancar.Cero (虚閃 (セロ), sero; Spanish for "Zero", Japanese for "Hollow Flash", 'Doom Blast' in the Viz translation) is a form of attack used by Menos, Arrancar and Vizard. Basically an energy blast, it consists of firing a blast of concentrated spirit energy at the target. While in most cases it is fired from the mouth, some Arrancar and Vizard are capable of firing Cero from their hands, fingers and other parts of their bodies. This often requires the user to under take a specific pose, with Coyote Starrk being the only exception. The power, force, speed, and blast area of the Cero is dependent on the strength of the user (i.e., the stronger the user, the stronger the attack), and there are some Arrancar and Vizard who have come up with their own variation. While All Hollow are able to use Basic Cero, Cero Masters are able to Create many diffrent types and forms, and for all purpous. Cero's them selfs are exstreamly powerful, but they use up massive amounts of power, and can drain a user very fast.
Taijitsu: Unarmed: Open to allHand-to-hand combat (白打, hakuda; lit. white hits) is not elaborated upon by most shinigami. Physical strength and skill is determined by this class. It seems to be a combination of several martial arts. The foremost practitioners of this technique are those assigned to the Onmitsukidō. Masters of this art can take on average armed opponents and those many times their size easily.
**Note Shunpo or flash step is a part of Taijitsu. If you choose this skill set you can use Shunpo.
Keijitsu/Zanjutsu: Open to all but Hollow
Swordsmanship (斬術, zanjutsu; Cutting Technique) is the most used form of combat among Shinigami. As the name suggests, it involves using a Zanpakutō and its various special abilities to attack an opponent. In addition to its basic form, each Zanpakutō has two enhanced forms: Shikai (始解, Initial Release) and Bankai (卍解, Final Release), which change the sword's form to unlock its potential and that of its user. As Arrancar also possess a form of Zanpakutō, the skill to wield one is similar to that of a Shinigami. Like a normal Shinigami's Zanpakutō, in addition to its basic form, its release allows the Arrancar another form termed Resurrección, which unlocks the sealed Hollow form of the wielder.
Quincy Bow: All Quincy are required to have this as either a Main or Sub skillAll Quincies have the ability to create a unique spirit bow, and subsequently generate spirit arrows for the bow, using a Quincy cross or pentacle. The bow and arrows are both made up completely of spirit energy and sometimes pressure from the users surroundings, and last as long as the wielder's stamina and spirit energy reserves allow. See Quincy thread for more Info.
Sliver Tubes: Open to Quincy, Modsoul, The Awakend, and Bount.are small silver cylinder capsules that store spiritual energy in a liquid form, and are used by Quincy for spellcasting in the same way that Shinigami use Kidō. Like Kidō, they are activated by calling out various commands. Silver Tubes are the Human eqivalent of Kido, and will follow a simaler pattern.
Sumiyaka Koushi: Open to Vizards, Shinigami, Quincy and the Awakened. Sumiyaka Koushi or (Quick Spirit) is an abstract form of Kido that uses a weilders Reiatsu. It focuses the Reiatsu much the same way a shrine miko would to expel spirits or send them on to the after life, to forming a kaikkai barrier around an object mending the damage done, no matter how seemingly great. The weilder of Sumiyaka Koushi can in essence perform 'Quickenings' or a Soul Burial without the use of a Zanpakuto in or out of a 'Gi-gai' as well as mend any physical object. The Kaikkai can also be used to form a barrier wall around the weilder and target moving them to a temporary space that keeps the damage from happening to the physical world around them.
